The menu is announced on a slate since it depends entirely on produce purchased at the morning market. Start your meal with pan-fried foie gras and apples in gingerbread honey; ravioli, ceps, coulis and crustaceans or a fantastic and well presented smoked salmon with eggplant, sesame seeds and vinegar curry. These will give you more than a picture of the dishes that are to come, and encourage you to move on to sweet tuna flavoured with apple and chorizo, or delightful swordfish served with yellow fried turnips in cream and mushrooms. Meats are represented by a crispy lamb duo in vegetables with thyme green juice; a straightforward chicken roast with sautéed potatoes, and duck with mango liqueur and pineapple.

Make sure you leave room for dessert where a warm crumble pear chocolate will help you end brilliantly. Other choices could include crème brûlée; millefeuille of iced crispy salted caramel with pistachio ice cream, and a selection of cheeses. It is evident that the wines are chosen with care and are available by the bottle or glass.
